The scene
A 10 × 7 m clothing pop-up in a creative park. Passers-by are drawn in by the two mannequins on the window platform at the door. Inside, rails and shelving line the walls, and two floor rails and a display table in the middle give people something to walk round. Further in are three fitting rooms; the till is on the other side.
When it helps
- You have to submit a layout to the mall or venue for approval.
- You need to count rails and props so suppliers can prepare them.
- You want to be sure the fitting-room and till queues won’t block the aisles.
What’s already laid out
- Three fitting rooms, each 0.9 × 1.0 m with a curtain, and a rug in front.
- A window platform, 2 × 2 m and 0.3 m high, with two mannequins on it.
- Along the walls: an open wardrobe, a 1.8 m clothes rail and shelving.
- On the floor: a round rail, a four-way rail and a display table.
- A tablet on the till and a sign hanging above it.
- Plus 9 figures for scale and circulation. If you don’t need them, delete them all in one go.
Making it yours
- Press “Start from this one”. The template opens in the editor as your own drawing; whatever you change, the original template stays as it was.
- Change the shop size in the Space panel; the wall height is adjustable too.
- Rail lengths and styles can be swapped directly, and the counts in the list follow.
- The number of fitting rooms is a single number.
- For anything missing, press Components at the bottom: search by name and click to place it. Select what you don’t need and press Delete.
- When the layout is right, press Download at the top right to save it as an image, then drop it into a deck or send it as it is.
What to settle first
- Place the fixed volumes first: fitting rooms and window platform. They are hard to move once set.
- Then the wall displays, filling the walls.
- Put the till where it can see both the door and the fitting rooms.
- Island displays last. Then walk it through and check every path is clear.
What you end up with
- A layout drawing
- Download it as a PNG or JPG, at a resolution that holds up in a deck or a proposal.
- An object list
- The name and quantity of everything on the drawing. Change the drawing and the list changes with it.
- A length for every cable
- Power and signal runs have a length as soon as they are drawn. Order from those numbers.
- A link to send
- Once you sign in, the drawing can become a link that opens in any browser.
