01 · Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Misea (the “Service”) is provided by Luxmin Co., Ltd. (勒克斯明有限公司) (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Misea is a browser-based tool for laying out interactive-experience hardware on floor and elevation plans — placing devices, drawing cabling, annotating, and exporting drawings and equipment lists. The Service is currently free to use; certain advanced features will later be offered through a paid subscription (Pro).
2. Accounts
Some features (cloud projects, share links) require signing in, either with your email via a “magic link” or with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your inbox, login links and Google account secure; activity carried out through your account is treated as your own. You must meet the age of contractual capacity in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service or its assets, or resell the built-in assets commercially;
- upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or rights-violating content;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt unauthorised access to others’ data;
- bulk-harvest the Service or its asset library by automated means.
4. Intellectual property
The copyright and other intellectual-property rights in the Service’s software, interface, brand, and built-in asset library belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. The scenes and projects you create in the Service remain yours; you grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service (for example, to store your content, generate thumbnails, and produce share pages).
Third-party materials. The people silhouettes in the built-in asset library are silhouette graphics we produced from the following public resources. The original models and motion data are not distributed with the Service.
- Microsoft Rocketbox Avatar Library — character models and motion data, used under the MIT License reproduced below
- CMU Graphics Lab Motion Capture Database — motion data. The data used in this project was obtained from mocap.cs.cmu.edu. The database was created with funding from NSF EIA-0196217.

5. Payments and subscriptions
Paid plans are processed through Paddle. Paddle is our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, and handles the transaction, receipts, and taxes. When you buy a subscription, the Paddle Buyer Terms also apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for your chosen billing period (monthly / yearly) until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time; after cancellation you keep access until the end of the current period, with no further renewal.
- Refunds are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy below.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to uninterrupted or error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service. The Service is a planning and visualisation aid; it does not replace professional engineering, electrical, fire-safety, or structural review. Actual installation must follow professional assessment and local regulations.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your right to use the Service.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated separately. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the Taiwan Shilin District Court as the court of first instance — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your place of residence.

02 · Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
We care about your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and which service providers we work with.
1. Data we collect
- Email address — for magic-link sign-in, the founding-member waitlist, and when you contact us.
- Basic Google account details — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google, and use them only to create and identify your account. We never receive your Google password, and we do not read your Gmail, Drive or any other Google data.
- Scenes and projects you create — if you sign in and use cloud features, your scenes (including thumbnails) are stored in our cloud database. If you are not signed in, scenes are auto-saved only in your own browser (localStorage / IndexedDB) and are not sent to us.
- Share-link content — when you choose to generate a read-only share link, a view-only copy of that scene is stored in publicly accessible storage; anyone with the link can view it.
- Visit statistics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated, anonymous visit statistics. It uses no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and does not identify individuals.
- Visits and referring source — to learn where visitors first hear about Misea, we record which pages of this site you open and where you arrived from. For the source we keep only the referring site’s hostname (for example threads.net) and any campaign tags on the link (utm); we do not record the full referring URL, IP addresses or your browser’s User-Agent. At most one record is kept per browser, per page, per day, told apart by the random identifier described in the next item, and retained for 180 days. When you create an account, where you came from is stored with that identifier alongside your account until the account is deleted. On the home page we also record which sections you reached and which buttons you clicked (only our own codes for the section and the button), on that same visit record.
- Product usage records — to learn which features people actually use and how many people get value out of Misea, we record a small number of product events (for example “opened the upgrade dialog”, “exported a PDF”, “used the app today”, “created a share link”, “plan changed from Free to Pro”). Each record holds only an action name, a feature code, your plan, the page path, the internal id of the project involved and a timestamp; we do not record the contents of your scenes, your project names, or IP addresses. When you are signed in these records are linked to your account, so we can count people rather than only events; in addition, the first time you visit this site we store a random identifier in your browser (not a cookie) to tell browsers apart. It is never shared across sites or with third parties, and clearing your browser data removes it.
- Editor usage statistics — to learn which features and components are used most, the editor keeps a running count of the day’s usage in your browser (for example how many items you placed, which tools you used, which components you placed and how often, and how many minutes you were active) and sends it as one summary per browser per day, told apart by the random identifier described above; when you are signed in that summary is linked to your account. It holds only codes for features and components and their counts — never the contents of your drawings, your project names, or any text you write on a drawing — and is retained for 180 days.
- Component search terms — to learn which components people look for and which they cannot find, we record the words you search for in the component window and whether that search returned anything. This record is not linked to your account or to the random identifier described above; it only counts how many times each term was searched per day. Terms that look like an email address, a URL or a phone number are not recorded. Retained for 180 days.
- Share-link views — when someone opens a share link we record one “this link was viewed” event (the project’s internal id and a timestamp), so the person who created the link can tell whether their drawing was actually looked at. We do not store any identifier in the viewer’s browser for this purpose; the random identifier described above is only included if that viewer has also visited the Misea site themselves.
- Payment data — collected and processed by Paddle at checkout. We do not receive or store your card number.
2. Service providers (data processors)
- Supabase — authentication, cloud project database, and share storage.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and anonymous traffic analytics.
- Paddle — payment processing, receipts, and taxes (Merchant of Record).
- Resend — delivery of magic-link sign-in emails.
- Google — sign-in with your Google account (only if you choose that option).
- FormSubmit — delivery of the founding-member waitlist and contact forms.
These providers process data only as necessary to provide the Service to us, and each is bound by its own privacy policy. Some providers may process or store data outside your country of residence.
3. How we use data
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To send login links, notifications you request, or replies to your messages.
- To understand aggregated usage trends and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data retention
Cloud projects and account data are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete them. You can delete individual cloud projects at any time within the app. Visit records, product events, editor usage statistics and search terms are kept for 180 days; usage records tied to your account (the days you used the app, plan changes, and the source recorded at sign-up) are kept until the account is deleted.
5. Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and (where applicable) to data portability. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of your account and related data, email misea@luxmin.art.
6. Cookies and local storage
The Service itself uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Sign-in relies on necessary local storage (such as an authentication token) to keep you logged in; the editor uses browser local storage to preserve your current scene. The random identifier, the source record and the day’s usage counts used for the statistics described above are also kept in local storage.
7. Contact

03 · Refund & Cancellation
Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Refunds
You may request a refund within 14 days of payment. Refund requests are processed through Paddle in accordance with its refund policy.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel at any time; after cancellation you keep access to paid features until the end of the current period, after which there is no further renewal or charge.
3. How to request a refund
Email misea@luxmin.art with your payment email or Paddle receipt number, or request it directly through the receipt email Paddle sends you.
